1. To preserve, perpetuate and promote the traditions and art of fly fishing on all waters and especially on the North Umpqua River in Oregon.
2. To work for the conservation of all of our natural resources with emphasis on the conservation and protection of clean and pure angling waters; and in particular the North Umpqua Steelhead fishery.
3. To promote, support and assist in research on trout and anadromous fish, with special emphasis on the steelhead.
4. To promote good sportsmanship and a code of ethics among all anglers.
5. To develop, maintain, strengthen and perpetuate a society of fly fisherman in this generation and incoming generations by encouragement, advice and instruction to others and especially to the young.
6. To promote and preserve the fraternity of fly fisherman, the good fellowship, the social pleasures and the wholesome family atmosphere now existing at Steamboat on the North Umpqua River in Oregon.
7. To support those organizations which have purposes in common with this organization.
